Riding Camps

We will be offering three weeks of camps this summer.

We will be providing snacks and refreshments. Participants are to bring their own lunches and water bottles.
Riders are to bring the following:

• - Boot with a heel
• - Comfortable clothes including long pants for riding
• - Bicycle helmet (in case the helmets offered do not fit)
• - Sunscreen
• - Hats are optional

Each camp is taught by two qualified and experienced instructors with current First Aid certification. Depending on the number of students, we also have additional counselors that are current riders.

Camps days consist of two mounted lessons, and throughout the day, we will give the campers hands on theory lessons related to all aspects of horse care, from feeding, cleaning, horse health, types of equipment, their use and proper care, horse behaviour and training. We base our teachings from the Equestrian Canada Learn to Ride program.

Time: Camps run from 8:30 am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and end at 12:30pm on Friday.
