As a competitive equestrian farm, Trevella Stables is equipped with 120’ x 240’ outdoor riding arena. The outdoor arena footing has been engineered to accommodate a large selection of equine events. The base consists of 18” of beach sand lined with weeping tiles for drainage. From there, a 4” layer of quarry stone was added for packing purposes. Another 4” of crusher dust was added to finish off the packing and create ahard but still shock absorbing base. Finally, another 6” of beach sand was added to create the perfect balance of cushion and traction.

Not to be outdone by the outdoor riding arena, Trevella Stables equipped the farm with a 70’ x 144’ indoor arena. Recognizing that over 50% of the year is spent riding indoors, Trevella Stables ownership went the extra mile to ensure the indoor riding experience is as pleasant as the outdoor. The indoor arena is comprised of 6 high voltage lamps, strategically placed for optimal lighting with minimal shadowing. Similar to the outdoor arena, the indoor footing consists of a 18” pit run base, 4” of quarry stone, 4” of crusher dust, and 4” of beach sand mixed with an additional 2” of GGT. This combination makes for Olympic grade footing and fantastic dust control.
