Our Horses

Randy

Show Name: Grand Saluut

Type: Dutch Warmblood

After retiring as Grand Champion on the Trillium Circuit and three previous visits to the Royal Winter Fair under his belt, Randy still enjoys teaching rider’s young and old the joys of competing on the local NEC circuit. Randy has proven that his age is NOT a factor with his majestic stature and the extraordinary finesse of his jump. Randy is still in high demand amongst riders at any age.

Tonto

Show Name: Frosted Flakes

Type: Appaloosa / Paint

As the superstar pony of the barn, Tonto is one of the hardest working and most forgiving of “rider mistakes” horses you will ever meet. Tonto understands that his job is to teach and build rider’s confidence. Look for him on the local NEC circuit every summer and we guarantee a smiling face mounted on his back. Is there any wonder Tonto has proven time and time again to be a favourite amongst young riders.

Lily

Show Name: Little Miss Lily

Type: Welsh Cross

Lily is a barn favourite amongst more experienced children riders. She has just enough sassiness to keep things exciting but can also take a scared beginner out for a full day of lead line riding. With cute looks, perfect jump, and smooth movements, Lily has all the qualities of a great pony.

Brodie

Show Name: Quarter Horse

Type: Dutch Warmblood

Brodie has proven to be our “Steady Eddy”, the most consistently reliable horse we’ve ever had. Many riders who have had their confidence shaken due to injury or a bad season of showing have been rehabilitated with Brodie’s help. Not to mention, his kind demeanor makes him one of the first choices when it comes to introducing horseback riding to a newcomer.

Zoe

Show Name: Trade to a Te

Type: Quarter Horse

If Bella is the gate keeper to the Trillium Circuit, then Zoe is typically the next horse in line for a rider to advance up on. With an excellent jump and good movement, Zoe has proven to be our best option for the transition riders from local to provincial competition. Her level head also makes her a very good option to introduce competing at the local level for a rider’s first season.
